About the movement

Come outside with us.

Stop NDD means Stop Nature Deficit Disorder. We use the phrase as a friendly rallying cry: more fresh air, more wonder, more muddy shoes, and less pressure to make outdoor time perfect.

Our mission is simple.

Help families, teachers, and neighbors build a steady outdoor habit that feels doable in real life.

  • We believe nature belongs in the ordinary week, not just on vacations.
  • We welcome city blocks, schoolyards, stoops, gardens, parks, trails, and backyards.
  • We trade guilt for momentum: one small outside moment can change the tone of a day.
